The Drift Imprint Kit is a tactile little field kit for preserving the shapes and textures of the things you discover along the way. Find a shell on the beach, a leaf on a walk, a feather, fossil, coin or another small treasure, then create an imprint and add it to your Daughter of the Drift logbook.
It's a simple way to slow down, pay attention and turn a passing find into part of your own visual record.
Whats Included
Every kit contains everything you need to start making imprints:
1X Daughter of the Drift Logbook (Choose either the Indexed or Gridded Logbook option)
1X Archival black ink pad - Acid-free and fade-resistant.
1X Round plywood pressing board
1X Kneadable eraser - Supplied in its own storage case.
Two large sticks of Blu Tack - Pre-cut into smaller pieces for easy use.
1X Resealable Blu Tack storage bag
4X blank cards + matching envelopes
2X small kraft note card envelopes
1X Small calico storage pouch
Everything arrives together in one compact kit, ready to throw into a backpack, take camping, keep in the glovebox or pack for your next trip.

These are the exact materials I use when creating imprints inside my own Daughter of the Drift logbooks.Over time I've refined the process and gathered together the supplies that work beautifully, so you can start recording your own discoveries straight away. Every kit is thoughtfully sourced and carefully assembled by hand in my studio in Mission Beach, Far North Queensland.
Take it with you and print ideas
Print using shells and other beach finds, leaves, feathers, fossils, coins, textures and small objects with interesting shapes. If you can find it and safely press it, there's a good chance you can make a record of it. The best part is that it doesn't need to stay on your desk. Take it beachcombing, camping, slip it in your suitcase, keep it in the car (away from direct heat), take it on a bushwalk, take it on your travels and holidays….Then come home with a little more evidence of where you've been!
May your logbook become weathered. Corners softened. Pages filled. Evidence of a life well explored.
