The 2-Year Logbook
Product Description
Some places become familiar in a way you can't quite explain. You start to notice what the water looks like before the fish come on, which wind brings the clearest visibility, where the birds return each season, or what the beach looks like after a particular kind of weather. You don't necessarily learn these things from a book. You learn them by going back, paying attention and remembering.
This is a logbook for keeping track of all those little observations and discoveries.
Two years of structured records give you enough time to start seeing the patterns that are easy to miss when each trip exists on its own. Where you went, what the conditions were, what you found, what worked, what didn't and all the things you think you'll remember but probably won't.
You don't have to be a serious fisherman or an experienced naturalist to use it. It is for anyone who returns to the same places and has started to notice that they change.
The fisher watching the water. The diver recording visibility and species. The birdwatcher waiting for the same birds to return. The fossicker wondering whether the best finds follow the rain. The traveller keeping a record of places, conditions and discoveries along the way.
